Already established in various regions of QLD constructing: bridge, land development, earth and roadworks they have expanded into the mining infrastructure industry. Your role will be to oversee the successful completion of existing projects and work closely with the estimating team on new business throughout the Central Queensland region.

While ensuring the completion of existing projects you will integrate closely with the Estimating team successfully tendering on new infrastructure and mine early works projects in coastal and regional Central Queensland.

Reporting directly to the General Manager your duties will include:

• Liaising with local councils and clients

• Management of HR, Recruitment & Training

• Managing Quality, Safety & Environmental

• Supervising office & site staff

• Managing accounts for materials, labour & machinery

• Reporting progress, claims & variations

• Maintain close family and professional culture within the team

The ideal individual will have tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering and have experience in project managing civil infrastructure and land development projects. Also have commercial sense, personable qualities and communication skills that will allow you to have a mutual respect with the team, and a positive relationship with clients and councils.
