Two civil contractors have joined forces to deliver an 8km motorway upgrade on the western side of Brisbane. The state and federal governments have pumped funds into this section which is valued at more than $1.4B and will take 3 years to complete. You will be employed by the smaller of the two companies who has successfully operated in the industry for over 20 years developing first class staff, award winning training systems, benefits and incentive programs.

The project is a mix of green and brownfield sites and includes: Roadworks, bridges – associated structures, lane widening, off / on ramp extensions, drainage and stormwater all to Main Roads specifications.

You will be in charge of a particular area of works insuring construction runs smoothly on time providing support to site staff. While reporting to the Alliance Manager your role will include:

• Preparing claims and variations

• Programming & safety

• Budgeting & forcasting

You will consider yourself to be an excellent manager of people and have a proven track record in successful project delivery. Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or Construction Management will be required.
