This privately owned and operated engineering firm has continued to grow since starting out as a fabrication company in the 90’s. Employing over 60 people, with offices throughout Queensland, they have been involved of late in some iconic projects such as the Hale Street Bridge, and Virgin Blue hangars, as well as various other bridges, shopping centre redevelopments and high rise buildings.

The company has offices in Brisbane and Townsville, the Townsville office is brand new and requires and experienced individual to manage all the projects in North Queensland while ensuring as well as the day to day operations of the office and warehouse. Local experience and contacts will be an advantage as well as a previous track record of running a similar business.

As the Townville Manager you will report to the Operations Manager, your role will involve the following:

• Business development

• Implement systems and safety

• Supervise Office and site based activities

• Liaise with councils, clients & governing bodies

This is a unique opportunity to help develop the company’s capabilities into the building, mining and civil construction industries in North Queensland. This is a role with genuine autonomy, support will be supplied from Brisbane however there will be no interference in regards to your style and running of your office.
