Brisbane Based Role
$90,000- $110,000

This organisation has a national electrical distribution worth over $3 billion dollars and is involved in bulk supply substation, zone substation and distribution substation projects throughout Australia. They have a five year program of works scheduled based out of Brisbane. With their flexibility they also have the capacity to offer 9 day fortnights or your average 10 day working week. Flexibility is part of their profile.

Currently they have a requirement for a building services engineer.

In this role you would be responsible for managing maintenance and project work for air conditioning plant, electrical switchboards, building UPS, building generators and building automation systems for their facilities in Brisbane.

Your duties will include:

Providing professional input into the design and operation of building mechanical and electrical systems
Co-ordinating consultants for projects
Provide monthly reports on contracts, projects and achievements
Managing facilities management contract services for major plant and equipment

To be successful in this role you will need a detailed working knowledge of building mechanical and electrical systems. You should be a degree qualified Mechanical Engineer with experience in managing services works in building and construction and have experience dealing with multi disciplined work groups. Your knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety and The Building Code of Australia will also be integral to your success in this role.
