This government owned statutory authority is responsible for $4B of QLD's vital infrastructure projects which are currently being delivered by various major engineering alliances. Due to growth they have an immediate requirement for a Civil Engineer to work within the Asset Management division.

The key purpose of the role is to mitigate risk and protect assets through the professional management and interaction within company services. crossings and works. You will review designs, assess impact on assets and suggest changes as appropriate and negotiate with stakeholders to minimise risks and protect assets. You will also manage information requests associated with the interaction of assets over easements and ensure appropriate documentation is issues and records kept up to date.

Skills and experience required:

Technical knowledge as it relates to civil works, pipeline design, water management, environmental management
Demonstrated understanding of the construction environment as it relates to work around pipelines
Working knowledge of plan reading and technical drawings
Solid working knowledge of quality assurance, OH&S and environmental management
Strong experience in a similar position
