This business is one of Australia’s most dynamic, design and construct mid tier Civil Construction / Engineering companies operating in most states. On the civil side they handle a broad range of projects including ground works earthworks as well as major roads, bridges, pipelines, bulk earthworks and the list goes on.

This is a great opportunity to lead and develop a team of estimators in a business that is continually growing and diversifying. The primary objective of the role will be to manage and co-ordinate the preparation of Construction estimates for submission of tenders, including recommendations regarding construction techniques, engineering procedures and the utilization of new technology.

The position requires a detailed oriented person with well-developed analytical skills, excellent job costing and report writing ability. The successful candidate will also have strong communication skills and an ability to lead and develop an experienced team.

Knowledge of the local market conditions is preferred to ensure that maximum returns are achieved from successful contracts.

To be successful you will ideally be tertiary qualified and have 10+ years project estimating experience within the civil construction industry and a proven track record of being able to deliver results.
