Due to an extended period of growth, one of Australia’s leading mining contractors with nearly $3 billion dollars worth of work at hand are seeking a QA engineer to join the team on a $90 million expansion project in the Bowen Basin.

Part of this expansion project involves the diversion of a creek which involves major bulk earthworks, changes to some site services, roads, rehabilitation works, and water management to support the mining operation.

While reporting to the project manager your duties will include:-

Monitoring and inspection of all subcontractors works
Reporting and Scheduling for all earthworks and rehabilitation
Ensure civil works conform to the project specifications
QA and document control

You will be degree qualified (mining or civil) and ideally have 2-3 years experience in a similar role. Further experience on large earthwork projects will be highly regarded.
