This privately owned civil engineering construction company offers a unique opportunity to work in a business where they offer a comprehensive range of services including: construction, consulting and property development. Projects are undertaken predominantly throughout South East Queensland and North Queensland and include: roads, highways, bridges, subdivisions, bulk earthworks and heavy infrastructure.
There are numerous urban development projects on the south side of Brisbane requiring a couple of enthusiastic Site Engineers to help the complete process from initial tree clearing right through construction and into handover. As a Site Engineer you will be responsible for the day to day engineering activities such as: Quality assurance, procurement, safety and environmental.
While reporting to the Project Manager your role will include:
• Planning, programming, Contractual negotiations
• Learning about project management
• Environment and Safety
• Liaising with Foremen, site staff and sub contractors
We are ideally looking for a Civil Engineer with 2 – 3 years post graduate experience in delivering medium sized civil projects in Australia. This is an excellent opportunity to gain commercial experience delivering complete projects on time and under budget, while being mentored by senior management.
