One of Australia’s largest and most successful contractors has a unique opportunity to take up a new role in the Brisbane office to establish a new business unit that will deliver coal seam infrastructure work west of Brisbane. Over the next five years $700M worth of construction will be delivered, work includes: Access roads, dams, waste water treatment plant, a power station, services and large scale concrete structures / slabs that will support the mechanical and electrical components.

Working closely with the design team you will establish a team of Contract Administrators while being responsible for the administration of all subcontract packages which start at $15M and will climb into the hundreds of millions of dollars. You will be responsible for the procurement, commercial agreements and cash flow while work is being delivered at multiple sites.

While working closely with the Project and Construction Manager your role will include:

· Assist Project Managers in subcontractor and consultant management

· Manage head contract variations and scope changes

· Develop cost controls for projects and reporting requirements

· Account finalisation of head contract and subcontracts

This is a highly rewarding role that will ensure long term employment here in south east Queensland. We are searching for an individual who has experience in the commercial management of similar projects and has the knowledge and the contacts to help build a team around them.
