As a top mid tier Construction Company within Queensland they are known for their fantastic attitude to safety, their professionalism and their loyalty to clients. They have the resources to build complex and challenging projects within the $15-$50m price range and are well known within the health, educational and government sectors.

They have recently been awarded a multimillion dollar health project starting in Brisbane within the next month and have an immediate need for a Safety Officer/WHSO to join their construction team.

To be considered for this role you will need to have had at least 3 years experience in a similar role within the commercial or retail or industrial construction area.

You will be site based (CBD Fringe). Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Implementing and enforcing safety policies and procedures.
Training and influencing staff on a positive safety environment
Liaise with all staff in regards to updates on policies, procedures and standards

Ideally you will have a certificate IV in OHS or equivalent, outstanding knowledge of OHS safety procedures and fantastic written and verbal communication skills.

You will be offered a salary package circa $100-$110k package
