This multi disciplined mining, power and resources company have been delivering mechanical, electrical and structural packages on Australia’s leading minerals processing projects since the early 90s. Projects ranging up to $1 billion have been successfully delivered under budget and under deadline resulting in repeat business that has allowed them to expand into the top tier market.
While reporting to the project controls manager you will also work closely with on-site contractors ensuring that Safety, QA and Environmental standards are kept to a first class level.This is a green field site with new facilities being built. Work will include the complete construction of two mineral processing facilities valued at $500 million.
Key responsibilities include the following areas:
- Work with Design and Construction Teams to ensure all cost factors are either measured or identified effective use of Primeviera and SAP
- Development and revision of cost plans
- Monitor the changes in design and reprice accordingly
- Review of working estimates for each cost code and design lots
- Analyse construction forecasts quantities, principles and assumptions
- Prepare and submit monthly cost report
- Review documents for compliance with budget quantities
The project contract is worth over $500 M and will take over 18 months to complete, this is a fulltime position, with plenty of work across the entire business once the project is complete there will be plenty of options for different projects in different locations. Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a similar field are desired but not required however a long proven track record of working on similar projects is compulsary.
