This well-known Development, Funds Management and construction company has been heavily contributing to the changing skyline of SEQ. With a diversified funds management, development, and construction capability they have delivered a range of projects such as residential/commercial high-rise, resorts/hotels, and master-planned communities.
There are currently two landmark projects in the pipeline. Their $300M mixed-use high-rise has just recieved DA, with a second $150M residential DA to be submitted. Construction is due to start mid 2011.
The successful Development Manager will have a dual role, firstly managing detailed design and design development on the $300M project adding value on construction methodology and buildability and ensuring the project adheres to a budget. Concurrently you will manage the DA application process on the $150M residential project on the city fringe.
As Design Manager you will be responsible for
- Design development to budget at both tender and post contract stage,
- Engagement and management of consultants,
- Coordinate the information flow between the design and construction teams
- Initiate suitable changes to design to facilitate new user needs or improved cost or material performance.
