With a design and planning team responsible for design coordination and detail as well as critical path programming, their approach to clients is an open-book partnering arrangement.

One of Queensland’s leading Club builders has an opportunity for a Design Manager to join the business in a real design & construct environment. As Design Manager you will take overall responsibility for the management and delivery of design, documentation and early conceptual client liaison.

As Design Manager you will be responsible for

Design development to budget at both tender and post contract stage,
Engagement and management of consultants,
Coordinate the information flow between the design and construction teams
Initiate suitable changes to design to facilitate new user needs or improved cost or material performance.

The contractor has been developing their business successfully over the past 15 years and is also expanding into emerging markets to ensure the future stability of the company. They have found that their methods and understanding of D&C have led to increasingly happy clients and a full order book for the next 2 years.
