Our client is a premier coal exporting facility which is part of an integral part of Australia's coal supply chain - servicing the world's export market.

There is a role for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer at this major coal facility. This position will see you undertaking the planning and completion of major maintenance works, whilst determining feasibility and reliability of major maintenance tasks and providing strategies and technical support to the maintenance. Your role will involve managing electrical systems so that business objectives are met through compliance with the Electricity Act, company policy and all other related standards and legislative requirements as well as overseeing the design and project management of all capital works projects.

To be successful in this role you will:

· Be a degree qualified Engineer

· Have 10 years strong design experience and project site experience

· Have experience in mining / minerals processing

· Experience in power generation plant design would be advantageous

This is a great opportunity to enjoy the lifestyle up in the sunny north Queensland. The working conditions and environment are ideal and the last person in the role stayed for almost 10 years. If you were based in another city the company is willing to fly you back home every second weekend.
