$200,000 package
Contract until April 2010 then move onto iconic project

A Commissioning Manager is required for the commissioning phase on a large scale transport project in the Inner Brisbane suburbs. Succesful completion of this contract will ensure ongoing work on Queenslands largest infrastructure project. This is a brilliant opportunity for a Commissioning Manager looking to establish themselves locally on large scale projects.

Working with your project team you will be required to oversee the commissioning phase of the project and co-ordinate on site personnel in the delivery of design specifications.

You will have the following accountabilities in your role:

Management and Co-ordination of Commissioning
Co-ordinating on-site personnel
Ensuring the project is compliant with design specifications
Accountability for Production Control
Producing Progress Claims
Forecasting Labour Costs

The ideal applicant will have at least 3 years prior experience working as a Commissioning Manager and will have a proven ability to project manage teams and complete the commissioning phase of the project within scope.

It is essential that you have prior experience working as a commissioning supervisor or manager on power stations or road projects. We are also seeking someone with electrical engineering qualifications.
