This organisation has a national electrical distribution worth over $3 billion dollars and is involved in bulk supply substation, zone substation and distribution substation projects throughout Australia. They have a five year program of works scheduled based out of Brisbane. With their flexibility they also have the capacity to offer 9 day fortnights or your average 10 day working week. Flexibility is part of their profile.

Currently they have a requirement for a SCADA Engineer. Within this role you will be responsible for assisting the resource team in allocating projects. You will be co-ordinating the designs within your team to effectively meet project demands.

Within your role your responsibilities will include:

Developing plans for the design and maintenance of SCADA and Telecommunications policies
Producing technical documentation and evaluation of tenders
Providing advise to improve design, construction, maintenance and overall performance for SCADA and telecommunication networks.

To be successful in this role you will be eligible as a member of the institute of engineers holding a bachelor of electrical or electronics engineering. You should also have technical experience in SCADA management and telecommunication systems for power utilities.
