This electrical contractor is one of the largest and most established operator across the commercial and industrial sectors in the current market. Currently they have an immediate requirement for an Electrical Safety Advisor for a gas fired power station project at Condamine/ Chincilla.

You will be required to have a WHSO ticket and revious experience working as a workplace health and safety officer on electrical industrial or commercial projects is essential.

Key responsibilites include:

Advising site manager about health and safety site processes
Investigating injuries and illnesses in the workplace
Implementing OH and S Procedures
Producing work method statements and documenting compliance

This role will be working 11 on 3 off roster. Your hourly rate will be $45 hours + overtime. Daily travel will be provided and you will get accommodation as well as a living away homing allowance. This project is due to complete in October 2009 and this will be a project appointment.
