Fabrication/Structural Supervisor
Coal Engineering, Maintenance and Shutdown Projects

This global organisation is currently providing major shutdown management for coal mining and process plant in Central Queensland. Their Mackay office is focused on engineering, projects and maintenance in the coal industry. They also provide asset maintenance of mining and process plants and mobile maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment.

Currently they are seeking a Structural/Fabrication Supervisor for a permanent residential role in Mackay.

Your responsibilities will include:

Overseeing the implementation of daily work schedules
Ensuring allocated tasks are completed to plan and within budget
Communicating feedback on issues with team members
Ensuring quality, safety and continuous improvement on site

The ideal applicant will have the following skills

Experience supervising small teams within a mining/heavy industrial environment
Knowledge to identify changes in work order scope and to report changes
High level of computer literacy
Solid knowledge of welding, fabrication and estimation
