An exciting opportunity has become available for a facilities maintenance assistant.

The facilities maintenance assistant is responsible for the effective management and coordination of activities related to building maintenance and support services to permit the ongoing efficiency and effectiveness of a premises located in Sydneys eastern suburbs. The role offers a wide variety of duties which includes both basic repairs and maintenance within the location as well as some clerical/admin and paperwork. You will provide a point of contact and support for facilities managers and building owners and report on planned and unplanned maintenance, condition based projects and client initiated projects. You will liaise closely with the trades people and contractors and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.

We are looking for suitable candidates with the following:

Experience in a similar role
Electrical qualifications
Background in building/facilities maintenance ideally in a distribution centre/warehouse environment (but not essential)
Excellent time management skills
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
General admin capabilities
Be a positive, energetic, flexible and above all reliable person
Ability to multi task
Be customer service focused
