Programming notifier fire panels and equipment

We are looking for an experienced fire systems technician to work with technologically advanced fire technology on a 4.6km tunnel project in Brisbane’s inner CBD.

In this role you will have the following accountabilities:

Design, commissioning and configuring of fire detection and supression systems
Programming of fire panels utilizing appropriate software
Creating schedules and plans for your work
Reporting on your progress with programming
Working within the commissioning team on the project

You should be an Electrician or Engineer with a background in programming fire panels for commercial and/or infrastructure projects. You should be familiar with “Notifier” fire detection networks and have previous experience in gas detection systems. Sub-surface and fibre optics experience would advantageous although not essential.
