Leading Australian Contractor with numerous mine sites Australia wide is looking for an experienced Health, Safety, Environment and Training Superintendent.

Reporting directly to the PM, you will establish project healh safety and environmental objectives. You will develop hazard and risk identification processes, create the safest possible workplace and coordinate the SHE&T team. Performing site safety inductions, training, reviewing site plans and procedures, monthly reporting and safety equipment procurement will all form part of the role.

To be successful you will posses;

Diploma in OHS and relevant experience
4-5 years experience in safety, health, environment and training field within mining or construction.
Coal surface generic induction & S1, S2, S3 and G2 coal competencies
An understanding of QLD Workplace Health & Safety Act
An understanding of QLD Coal Mining Safety and Health Act
Strong communication, negotiation, time management and problem solving skills
