In a growing market for electrical asset services in the infrastructure industry, this organization is currently heavily involved in the transmission and distribution sectors. Their business is split into two key sections. One side is the substation construction business made up of distribution projects inclusive of URD, HV industrial and overhead line work.

Due to growth in their capabilities, thay are expanding as an organisation into the materials handling and heavy industrial industry, with strong branding behind them.

They require an experienced heavy industrial/minerals processing electrical estimator to assist the team in taking this expansion foward.

You will be working in a permanent role with a team of 4 people for a 40 hour week. The program you will be utilizing for producing your estimates will be the expert estimation software.

Your responsibilities will include

Developing and submitting industrial estimates in a team environment
Assessing project costs and subcontract conditions
Developing estimates for materials handling, shiploading, converoy systems, refinery work and refinery plants.

The ideal applicant for this role will have prior experience as an industrial estimator for at least 2 years. You should also have knowledge and proficiency for projects with HV estimates in the heavy industrial and mining industry. A trade background is or degree qualifications in electrical engineering or as a qualified electrician is essential. You should have the drive to win work, the attention to detail to produce work and the interpersonal skills to collaborate in a team environment and be a success in this business.
