This company is a leader in their field with a renowned reputation. Due to continuous, steady growth they are requiring a junior project manager with facilities management & building/construction experience to join their team in Townsville.

The project manager is responsible to the Planning Manager for the delivery of planned works program projects utilising third party subcontractors and consultants in NQ - Townsville. You will be responsible for:

Effective and efficient performance of general estate works management services and operation
Evaluate and prioritise project management resources to achieve consistency and delivery across the works project works portfolio with the core objective to deliver agreed programmed works to budget and times
Able to design, manage and deliver engineering/facilities management and construction projects

What we are looking for:

Appropriate trade / tertiary background in construction, PM or Facilities Management
Experience in the scheduling, phasing, prioritising and management of construction works
Experience in conduction tender process and the engagement and management of subcontractors
Experience with computerised maintenance, project planning and building management software
Excellent leadership and management skills
Superior report writing skills
Extensive experience of service delivery within a defence OR defence related industry
Project management within the facilities management, building or construction industry
Commercial background
Ideally be currently based in Townsville / NQ
