We currently have an immediate position requirement for a Landfill and Recycling Manager to be based in the Western suburbs. Our client is a leader in the water, environment and waste management industries and the opportunities they offer their employees are endless. As the Landfill and Recycling Manager you will be responsible for managing the Landfill & transfer station performance and implementing operational plans to achieve objectives. You will drive the financial performance to achieve operational effectiveness and play a leading role in process improvement. You are responsible for a team of direct reports so you will monitor and implement staff training and development. You will be accountable for OH & S, Landfill operations management and developing recycling opportunities.

To apply we are looking for people with the following skills and experience;

Relevant qualifications in engineering, construction
Landfill operations and waste handling experience
Recycling experience would be highly regarded
Experience managing, leading and mentoring a team of people
Superb communication skills both written and verbal
Positive attitude with achievement focus
Able to nurture and build relationships with key stakeholders
Project management experience with budgeting and planning skills
