This organisation is the largest high profile specialist contractor with current works in excess of $2 billion in the mechanical, structural, electrical and minerals processing markets. They have experienced steady growth throughout Australia and within the construction industry in Central Queensland and are looking to secure long term staffing teams to service current and upcoming project requirements.

As an organisation they are involved in Coal Handling Marine Facilities, Plant Expansions and Heavy Industrial projects throughout Queensland and have a solid reputation for winning the industries most sought after projects.

They are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with previous experience in a supervisory role. You should have prior experience with a junior site engineer and designers reporting in to you on a daily basis. You should also have an advanced knowledge of design verification due to a strong technical background. The successful applicant will have a degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 4 years experience on heavy industrial or mining construction projects.

Within this role you will be responsible for

End to end engineering involvement from design through to handover
Providing electrical engineering support
Planning and scheduling construction packages
Supervising your electrical engineering team
Generating business and developing your client base

This role will be based in Brisbane with travel to site 2-3 days per month.
