This organisation is the largest high profile specialist contractor with current works in excess of $2 billion in the mechanical, structural and minerals processing markets. They have experienced steady growth throughout Australia and within the construction industry in Central Queensland and are looking to secure long term staffing teams to service current and upcoming project requirements.

 

Currently they have a requirement for a Senior Planner/ Project Controls to relocate for their Aluminia Refinery Expansion project on the outskirts of Gladstone. This project will involved the duplication and second stage of the existing refinery including mechanical installation and piping works.

 

Within this role you will be employed on a permanent basis. The package will include your salary + site allowance + an apartment or house provided. In addition to your generous package you will also be working a guaranteed 5 day week.

 

As lead planner on this project you will have the following accountabilities:

  • Developing the project plan
  • Maintaining project schedules and client reports
  • Scheduling construction and monitoring project budgets and deadlines
  • Utilizing Primavera to create project master and construction schedules

 

The ideal applicant will have prior experience with Primavera and will have worked as a Head Planner on Minerals Processing construction projects throughout the project lifecycle from concept to completion.
