Our client is a leading international mining group with activities that span the world, however they are strongly respresented in
Reporting to the Superintendent - Maintenance this role is responsible for the day to day monitoring, analysis, maintenance and repair of electrical and instrumentation assets for this expansion project. You will be required to manage work priorities on critical, high cost assets, and provide technical support to Maintenance teams.
To be successful you will have:
- Experience with power distribution and generation systems and cogeneration
- Experience with instrumentation and control systems will be highly regarded
- You will have the ability to assess and question the suitability of current maintenance strategies and provide advice to Technicians, Team Leaders, Planners and Superintendents.
- Ideally you will have significant experience in a similar role in heavy industry or large scale continuous processing operations
- A tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or Bachelor of Engineering Technology.
