Our client is a leading international mining group with activities that span the world and they currently have a vacancy for a Fixed Plant Maintenance Planner.

In this role you will be working as part of the maintenance team and you will assist the Maintenance Superintendent in achieving objectives for the period of expansion of the plant. The plant is situated in Gladstone which is a rapidly growing industrial town that is seeing plenty of activity in recent times. Located on the edge of natures playground you are knocking on the door of the Great Barrier Reef and a number of fantastic coastal destinations as well as Islands that you can spend your time exploring. The location offers a great work-life balance for any family.

To be successful in this role you will have:

Experience within a mining or heavy industry environment
Experience coordinating and scheduling maintenance activities to ensure production is maximised and down time is minimised
Previous supervisory experience especially supervising tradespeople
Experience using a computer based maintenance management system (SAP or MIMs preferred)
The ability to contribute to all business planning activities and to provide continuous improvement with regards to maintenance of the plant
