This boutique design firm based in Mackay,Northern Queensland offers minerals handling solutions to a broad spectrum ofclients and operational environments here in Australia and internationally.Following removal from the mine often a complex system of conveyors andmachinery are required to transport the raw mineral to the final processinglocation then to port. This firm offers its clients a wide range of equipmentfrom conveyor solutions to crushing, sizing and sorting machinery to handlethis problem.

Thesuccessful candidate will have experience in the design of conveyors andmaterials handling systems. This experience ideally will include design ofconveyor systems for the handling of coal or minerals. The role requires theindividual to complete design calculations, estimates, manage draftingresources and schedules to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.

The nature of this design officewould suit a flexible individual who is willing to work in a cooperative teamenvironment. To succeed in this role you will be required to manage multipledesigns occurring concurrently. This opportunity allows the engineer to followthe design from concept stages through manufacture and finally the installationand commissioning of the equipment.
