An innovative engineering consultancy who specialise in providing sustainable and viable infrastructure and management solutions for public and private clients across the globe are constantly expanding and securing new projects including the refurbishment of a coal washplant, which has seen the need for a skilled Mechanical Design Drafter to join the Mackay team.

The role will see you working on coal mine projects worth up to $20 million, designing and drafting conveyors, pumps, piping, structures and concrete.

Successful applicants will have the following characteristics:

5+ Years of experience within the coal mining / minerals processing industry
Extensive experience using design software ProSteel and AutoCAD
Local Australian experience and knowledge of design standards
An excellent ability to communicate effectively
A passion for the industry and desire to grow within the company
