As the Mechanical Engineer you willbe responsible for the design of new plant upgrades to reduce emissions andimprove the efficiency of the power plant. Your input will be required from theconceptual design stage through to testing and development with a portion ofwork involved in the commissioning of the equipment on site. This role willinclude some travel and site work to ensure delivery and installation of theequipment meets the design and client specifications.
Role:
- Design of plant upgrades to reduce emission impact
- Assist with long term enhancement plans for the site
- Manage budgets
- Proposal and tender input
- Design calculations
- Site supervision for installation
Requirements:
- Degree Qualified Mechanical Engineer
- Mechanical Engineering Experience – 5 years + in power generation
Desirable:
- Conveyor Design
- Coal Handling experience
- Mechanical engineering design supervision
- Mechanical design leadership experience
- EPCM experience
