This Global Organisation has proudly become one of the largest diversified metals and mining companies in the world and are currently in the process of establishing a Project team for one of their major projects in central QLD.As a result they are seeking multiple Mechanical Engineers to assist with new plant design,major upgrades and improvement projects.

Your key responsibilties will include management of projects in accordance with company procedures in a timely and cost effective manner. You will collect and review plant performance data and be involved in problem solving and root cause analysis sessions as required to identify and implement solutions to plant emission issues. You will engage in continuous discussions and feedback with the project team,operations,maintenance and management as required.Also you will design and execute solutions to plant emission issues, administer contracts and verify satisfactory completion,and supervise consultation with the assistance of project supervisors and coordinate the testing, commissioning, and quality control of completed works.

The ideal candidate should possess:-

Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Relevant industry experience with proven design and project management skills
Solid Design experience on industrial projects including the design of structural steelwork, ducting, pipework and selection and installation of process Solid design experience equipment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Computer literacy in Word, Excel and MS Project

Previous experience in the mining, mineral processing, smelting industry or large scale industrial or chemical plant would be an advantage.
