This organisation is the largest high profile specialist contractor with current works in excess of $2 billion in the mechanical, structural and minerals processing markets. They have experienced steady growth throughout Australia and within the construction industry in Central Queensland and are looking to secure long term staffing teams to service current and upcoming project requirements.

Their projects include open marine coal terminal facilities, conveyor systems, plant upgrades and refinery duplication projects all in the multi-million dollar price range.

Your responsibilities will include

Participation in all phases of tendering including client liaison
Tender responses, liaison with internal subdivisions for quotations
Sourcing tender responses and quotations from external suppliers
Submitting proposals to clients
Site meetings and contract negotiations
Supervision of your team of Estimators and contractors

You will be an experienced Senior Mechanical Estimator with a materials handling, mineral processing, oil & gas projects background. The ideal applicant will have good communication skills, a fine eye for detail and a background in estimating large scale projects.
