Quickly becoming one of Australia's leading supplier of products and services to the Oil and Gas, Mining, Petrochemical, and Mineral Processing industries, This contractor is looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join them.

Candidates should hold a BE in mechanical engineering along with mid level postgraduate relevant experience in the Oil & Gas, mining or minerals processing industry. Candidates should also have knowledge and experience of:

Relevant Australian acts, regulations, standards and codes;
Project experience in the gas transmission or similar industry;
Assessing and managing risk associated with existing and new assets;
Experience with gas compressors, engines and piping

Particular experience with gas pipeline, engines and compressors will be looked upon favourably. It is also expected that the successful candidate will have a high level of integrity, excellent communication skills and the ability to relate to people on all levels.
