This organisation is the largest high profile specialist contractor with current works in excess of $2 billion in the mechanical, structural and minerals processing markets. They have experienced steady growth throughout Australia and within the construction industry in Central Queensland and are looking to secure long term staffing teams to service current and upcoming project requirements.

 

Mechanical Project Engineer: Coal Terminal Facility in North Queensland with a total project value in excess of $1 billion. The project will include open water marine work, jetty construction, marine structures, shipping facilities and pile driving.

 

Mechanical Project Engineer: Alumina Refinery Expansion on the outskirts of Gladstone. This project will be a duplication of the existing refinery including mechanical installation and piping works.

 

Your duties will include:

 

  • Leading project targets and objectives
  • Planning and developing work to deadlines
  • Ensuring community, statutory and contractual compliance
  • Assisting the Project manager to monitor costing
  • Interpreting construction drawings and technical specifications
