This global organisation is currently providing major shutdown management for coal mining and process plant in Central Queensland. Their Mackay office is focused on engineering, projects and maintenance in the coal industry. They also provide asset maintenance of mining and process plants and mobile maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment.

Currently they have a requirement for an Mechanical Supervisor:

In this role, through reporting to the Mechanical Superintendent you will be responsible for

Overseeing implementation of work on a daily basis
Ensuring work tasks are completed to plan, schedule and budget
Ensuring safe work practices
Delivering so that statutory and contractual requirements are being met

The ideal applicant will have experience supervising teams in a mining or heavy industrial environment, solid knowledge of mechanical maintenance activities, the ability to review actual hours against planned hours to reconcile work time sheets and a proven ability to identified changes in a work order scope.
