A global organisation with offices in every state of Australia, as well as internationally have created a new position for a National Property / Facilities Manager. You will coordinate and manage all FM property operations for a national contract based from Melbourne. The successful candidate will be required to develop effective national business relationships with clients and vendors. You will ensure that facility services are provided in compliance with the contractual obligations and the level of quality meets or exceeds designated KPI values. You will also provide strategic level and direct support to the company in planning, management, operations and employee communications as it relates to all facilities/locations.

To apply for the role you must demonstrate the following:

University degree in FM or related Property or Engineering field
A member of the FMA
Strong background in facilities/property management and most recently in a national role
Superb management and leadership skills
Solid knowledge of leases/leasing
Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
Extensive experience of service delivery contract and sub-contractor management
Management for a large scale of projects within commercial/retail/ or other industries
Ability to make business decisions and feel comfortable in a working environment where further opportunities exist for learning and development
Experience in all procurement processes associated including preparation of contracts, tendering etc
