The client specialise in designing large materials handling systems such as conveyors, shiploaders, stackers and reclaimers and processing plants for the mining industry. They have been established for almost 30 years and are known for their ability to design, build and supply custom engineering solutions. With offices and service facilities located around Australia and in New Zealand the company is experiencing growth which has created the requirement for an Operations Manager.

This position will see you responsible for processing projects from start to finish, ensuring budgets are met and projects are executed in a timely manner. You will be working on projects including $2 million dollar plant upgrades and green field multi- disciplinary projects where you will direct and coordinate all of the engineering activities.

Essential selection criteria for this position:

Bachelors Degree in Engineering
5+ years experience in Project Environments
Experience in mining and metals industry
Exposure to coal projects
Exceptional time management skills
