Our client is currently seeking a Payroll Services Specialist to join their team.  The team is responsible for providing payroll services to all business units (18,000 employees) within Australasia and this role manages and oversees the efficient running of the payroll services teams and supports the payroll services team leaders.

The main purpose of this role is to drive and promote effective payroll services processes and systems, and to continuously improve and drive global alignment across the payroll services service line.

The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

  • Provide technical and process guidance to payroll services team members
  • Maintain a focus on continuous improvement
  • Ensure key projects are kept to plan
  • Ensure payroll deadlines are met
  • Develop a team based, planned approach to payroll queries
  • Conduct regular team member performance reviews and establish and monitor development plans
  • Provide assistance with monthly reporting

To be considered for this role you must:

  • Provide and exhibit leadership excellence
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with all key team members
  • Possess strong technical skills in Microsoft Office
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail

Extensive  experience and knowledge of HR, payroll and superannuation is a must and industry knowledge is highly regarded.  Tertiary qualifications in HR/Commerce or a similar discipline is desirable.
