They have a solid reputation and enjoy repeat-business relationships with major clientele throughout the Australasia region.
A role has been created for an experienced piping engineer to join it’s Brisbane based office. You will be responsible for determining material specifications including piping size, grades, quality and sourcing of all materials required with piping work including control valves, pressure relief valves etc.
You will be able to manage the procurement schedule for all materials, determine piping specifications including elevation and layout and handle the analysis of piping issues including impact of temperature ranges, and residual waste materials.
Other tasks and responsibilities will include:-
- Management of any associated contractors and suppliers.
- Compliance with any relevant industry codes and safety legislation.
- Budget submissions, scope of works and detailed costing.
- Project management of design, construction and operation.
- Provide reports and analysis to technical colleagues and management on a regular basis.
You will be degree qualified in either Mechanical, Petroleum or piping engineering and have at least 3-5 years oil/gas experience. Your “Hands-on” attitude to field work, a willingness to carry out programs on the ground and an aggressive approach to taking ownership to get the job done will put you ahead of the rest.
