This Government owned statutory authority is responsible for $4B of QLD's vital infrastructure projects which are currently being delivered by various major construction and engineering alliances.

There is currently a need for an experienced Procurement and Contracts Advisor to assist in the delivery of corporate procurement framework, including procurement policy, procurement plan and supporting business systems and processes. You will assist in ensuring that costs and deliverables are accurately tracked against contracts as well as the preparation of tender documentation.

Suitable candidates will have demonstrated experience in the following:

Knowledge of contract law, common law, procurement and contract management principals
Solid experience in procurement and contracts with significant experience in the management and delivery of projects
Experience with the preparation of tenders and contract documentation
Ability to review plans, policies and processes in relation to contracts, procurement matters and administration
Able to communicate with a range of corporate skateholders

This will be an interesting and challenging role which will require appropriate qualifications in business, commerce or equivalent as well as an in-depth knowledge of construction alliance contracts.
