This top tier civil contractor will deliver the: earthworks, services associated with this mine infrastructure upgrade valued at over $160 million dollars. Construction will soon be starting onsite and will run for at least two years. With more stages to be released this is a long term position.
We are looking for a Commercial / Contracts Manager with a Quantity Surveying or Financial back ground to work onsite managing all commercial agreements, contracts and cash flow on this $150 M mining infrastructure project. You will have a team of admin staff to handle the procurement and commercial management of the entire project. This will be a challenging role that will demand previous experience in contractual disputes, negotiation solutions with demanding clients in mining infrastructure.
While working closely with the Project and Construction Manager your role will include:
· Assist Project Managers in subcontractor and consultant management
· Manage head contract variations and scope changes
· Develop cost controls for projects and reporting requirements
· Account finalisation of head contract and subcontracts
This is a highly rewarding role that will ensure long term employment here in Queensland with one of the heavy hitting tier one contractors. You will require similar experience in commercial management in civil construction preferably mining infrastructure.
