The business is considered to be a leading mid-tier contractor, their focus is predominantly on Main Roads projects although the company boasts a number of other successful results in earthworks, structures and sporting / aquatic projects.

Total works of this port development are valued at $190M and consist of road and bridge construction. There are two main sections of construction of a 2.5km road bypass and 7.5km two lane road incorporating rail changes and a medium scale deck span bridge.

While reporting to the Project Manager your role will include:

Costing, programming and claims management
Learning about project management
Environment and Safety
Liaising with Foremen, site staff and subcontractors

This challenging project will receive plenty of publicity during its construction, and with the caliber of Senior Management involved as well as the companies supporting them it promises to become one of Townsville’s most valuable landmarks.
