One Australia’s largest Engineering and construction giants has a list of projects ready to start this year that incorporate a range of commercial construction and is the result of the QLD government’s infrastructure plan, including schools, medical facilities and cutting-edge technology precincts. They have also forged strong relationships with corporate heavy-weights and will be completing large $500M+ projects in unique Joint-Venture relationships within their capital management division.

This top-tier contractor has just been awarded preferred tenderer status on a $200M Research Facility which will be attached to one of Brisbane's major hospitals. Involving several of QLD's leading University institutions, and private research organisations, this facility will represent world-leading technology and a Australian-first collaboration of this scale.

The services of an experienced project engineer is required to take a leading role in the design management and programming of this project before moving into a senior delivery role. You will be responsible for a $100M+ portion of the project which will incorporate a large concrete structural component and complex services packages.

The role will involve typical project management principles and be responsible for managing major sub-contractor packages, programming, cost-control, and client/consultant liaison at PCG meetings. You will be part of a team of 3 PE’s reporting into an experienced Project Director.

Ideally you will have tertiary qualifications in an engineering or construction discipline with at least 5 years major construction experience and a proven track record in project management, Site Engineering, or Contract Administration.

There is also a long-term opportunity to work on some of the country’s leading infrastructure projects and alliances.
