- $75,000- $110,000, Dependent on Experience Levels
A $1 billion dollar 8km highway 6 lane expansion project is expected to commence in early 2009. This will be Queenslands largest road alliance project ever provided with some of the industry’s finest engineering and civil contractors and consultancies.
The project is designed to reduce traffic congestion in the Western Suburbs and create a safer and more reliable transport solution for south east queenslands transport network.
Within this role you will be responsible for:
Co-ordinating site construction engineering activities to relocate underground utilities and services
Co-ordinating construction work programs
Ensure contractors adhere to standards, plans designs and specifications
Preparing status reports for the Project Manager
Recommending design details changes for construction
To be considered for this role you must hold tertiary qualifications as an electrical or mechanical engineer. You should also have prior experience on an infrastructure project with involvement in underground utilities and services relocation. The ideal person for this role will also have well developed interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
