This national mid tier contractor is forging ahead rural Queensland, with an immediate need for an experienced PM to join their management team. The company works across the commercial construction market with an emphasis on high end commercial fitouts, new build, schools, tertiary education facilities and now mine camp infrastructure. With the LNG industry exploding in the Surat Basin, hundreds of these camps are required in order to meet demand.

We are looking for someone with previous experience in project managing buildings and some civil works in Australian mining camps. The initial project is valued at $9 M and will involve: earthworks, concrete slabs and buildings for accommodation, workshops, food halls, gymnasiums and offices.

This will suit a Project Manager with an extremely high level of personable skills / people management ability and experience in both civil and building construction. Also to perform in remote locations managing a site team, subcontractors while liaising to the client and ensuring that future contracts can also be secured.
