One of our favourite clients are seeking suitably qualified candidates to fill two roles they now have available as a Project Manager. Our client is Australia's leading independent project services consultancy and they work with the owners of complex capital intensive projects to help protect their investment.

These roles are available now and will lead other staff members on two separate projects. The projects are medium sized coal projects so someone with medium projects experience will be regarded highly. Both the contracts will run for 12 months.

In this role you will:

prepare and manage the Project Execution Plan including the project organisation and structure, contracting strategy and resource plans
overall responsibility for the delivery of the project within safety, time, cost and quality criteria
ensure accurate and timely reporting standards are maintained throughout the project
authorise commitments and expenditures within authority levels based on the approved budget for the project
select or appoint Owner's Project staff necessary to perform the work
provide directio nand review the performance of the EPCM Contractor's Team

In particular our client is seeking candidates with strong people management experience and a mentor type management style. Previous experience working on projects in a variety of roles is desirable.
