This organisation is renowned nationally and has an enviable market reputation. Due to ongoing projects/work load there is vacancies for a talented project officer with facilities management experience.

You will liaise with internal and external stakeholders for project endorsement as well as management of projects from development through to delivery phase-including preparation of project briefs, budget estimates, timelines, implementation programs, quality review and budget control. You will also be responsible for undertaking tender development, evaluation, contract award and contract initiation progress. You will work with the building operations and facilities maintenance group which is responsible for infrastructure, buildings, grounds maintenance, energy management, security and supporting corporate services across all sectors.

What we are looking for:

  • Degree in Engineering, building services or diploma in facilities management
  • Experience in a facilities officer / facilities coordinator role
  • Superb analytical and problem solving skills relevant to the 'built' environment
  • Sound interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of OHS policies
  • Ability to undertake day to day management of consultants and contractors
  • Experience facilitating user groups
  • Experience developing resource efficiency strategies
