This organisation is the largest high profile specialist contractor with current works in excess of $2 billion in the mechanical, structural and minerals processing markets. They have experienced steady growth throughout Australia and within the construction industry in Central Queensland and are looking to secure long term staffing teams to service current and upcoming project requirements.

This project is the expansion of jetty facility and the placement of steel piles. It will also involve the supply and fabrication of structural steel.

Within this role you will be responsible for:

Developing and implementing QA systems and practices
Assessing and reporting to management on issues
Reviewing project planning/construction for risks of compliance
Performing audits and reviews
Providing QA training

This project is approximately 40km south of Mackay. Working hours are 6am to 5pm and 8 hours on a Saturday with 2 weekends off per month, one of those being a long weekend. There is no FIFO. LAHA and project allowances are provided on this project.
