This is one of Australia’s largest and most successful civil contractors operating in the construction industry for over 20 years this organisation is a developer of first class staff, with award winning training systems, benefits and incentive programs. With offices all over QLD they successfully build infrastructure large scale projects including: bridges, roads, mine infrastructure, industrial, marine and defence work.
Due to continual growth they are currently searching for a Recruitment Specialist to join the team in their Brisbane office. While being based in Brisbane your role will involve some travel to help recruit for projects all over QLD liaising closely with the project teams developing an acute knowledge for their recruitment needs.
While working within the recruitment team and reporting to the HR Manager you will involve yourself in the end to end recruitment process. This will mean advertising for candidates, dealing with recruitment companies, screening applicants, coordinating interviews, conducting reference checks and management of the engagement process.
We are searching for a highly motivated individual with experience in recruitment whether with a recruitment company or internally with a civil contractor or construction company. Tertiary qualifications in HR are preferred as well as previous experience and knowledge of how the engineering and construction fields operate.
